Celebrated worldwide as concert singer and operatic singer, German tenor Josef Protschka is known for his surpassing wide repertoire, high vocal standard, intensity of presentation and interpretative intelligence in his 40 years of career. Josef is professor for singing and interpretation in Copenhagen and Cologne. He has been giving master classes in Europe, South Africa and China and is invited for jury in prestigious singing competitions worldwide.
With his experience, your performance will be elevated all-rounded from your vocal basics and our interpretation of the piece to your ensemble with your accompanist.
OLIVIA DE PRATO
Internally recognized as a soloist as well as a chamber musician, Olivia has been described as “Flamboyant…convincing” (New York Times) and an “enchanting violinist” (Messaggero Veneto, Italy). As a passionate performer of contemporary and improvised music, her chamber music activities include appearances at the Bang on a Can Marathon in NYC, the Lucerne Festival with Pierre Boulez, the Ensemble Modern Festival, “June in Buffalo” and the Ojai Festival with Steve Reich. Olivia is active in education and has conducted workshops in New York, Shanghai, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Turkey.
VERENA DE PRATO

Austrian soprano Verena De Prato studied singing in Vienna with famous bass singer Otto Edelman. She is fluent in German, Italian and English. She understands the challenges that singers and accompanists have when dealing with texts in a foreign language, especially the difficulty in perfecting pronunciation of the performing languages in order to refine the expressive interpretations. Enroll for a language clinic to polish on your pronunciation of your selected piece to better understand the lyrics and enhance your performance.
Italian conductor and violinist Carlo Grandi performs regularly in Italy, Austria, Hungary and Russia. His first of Beethoven performed was praised as "a pillar of life to the fullest, reminiscent of Toscanini".
Carlo is always invited for music festivals, master classes and competitions. He is known for his enthusiastic and effective approach in teaching, proven by the numerous awards his students receive from national and international competitions.
Collaborative Piano 伴奏技藝
Peter Bortfeldt gives concerts as a pianist, conductor, chamber musician and Lied accompanist, as a guest of orchestras and festivals on four continents. He was the Director of studies and conductor at Aachen and Bonn Opera and is a lecturer at Cologne and Frankfurt Universities of music. Peter has played many world premieres of piano and chamber music, as well as works dedicated to him by modern composers. He regularly gives recitals with singers and master classes on Lied interpretation for singers as well as pianists.
VICTOR LOWRIE TAFOYA
Victor Lowrie Tafoya is a versatile violist, improviser and composer. As a passionate advocate of new music, he has appeared as a soloist, chamber musicians and educator throughout the US, South America, Europe and Asia. Victor is a founding member of Mivos Quartet, and performs regularly with groups such as Ensemble Signal, Slee Sinfonietta and the Wet Ink Ensemble. He can be heard on recordings from Carrier, Kill Rock Stars, New Amsterdam, New Focus Recordings, and Tzadik Records. Apart from performance, Victor writes for soloists and chamber ensembles and conducts master classes and workshops for young musicians worldwide including Hong Kong.
